So I have been stuck at home for a little while, and will be for a little longer .. but my next tour starts in the beginning of July so I am pretty excited. I am going out on Camplified for the THIRD YEAR! Exciting - I can't wait. I still have no idea who is performing on it this year, but I'll be heading to NYC soon for a meeting about that and lots of other important things. :)

I went to FL a couple of weeks ago with some friends, to see some friends, have fun .. whatever. It was an interesting trip for sure and I will never forget it! haha. Some pics below ..

Hey Everyone - Happy April! :)
I know it has been awhile since Ive posted...but a lot has happened since then! Before I break to the unfortunate news...

We had some GREAT shows recently in CT & MA ..amazing turnouts, a lot of fun. I got a chance to see some of my good friends in Buffalo along the way which was definitley fun to just go and hang out with them after not seeing them for awhile ( i toured with them last year). Everyones been having a lot of fun on the tour though but right now there is a bit of a break before everyone joins back up for the next few shows.

Now for some not so fun news... I am no longer on the tour, which is definitley for the best because it was not a good situation for me to be in anyways. I am not really going to get into why but PLEASE PLEASE still go out to the shows and support all of the amazing artists that are still on the tour....they really need your support and love meeting everyone.

HEYYY THEREEE KIDDOS!!!

Yesterday was fabulous - My best friend Andria was in town on a day off from the Take Action! Tour .. so I went to meet up with her which was so much fun because I hadnt seen her since the end of January. We just went to the mall & movies (saw premonition...pretty good!! go see it) and I met a few of Andrias tour mates from A Static Lullaby and Emery at the mall and the hotel so that was cool. BUT NO DAN FURY!! pshh.

So Andria left around noon to Poughkeepsie ..It was pretty sad seeing her tour bus drive off without me haha.

Anyways, these last few days I have just been hangin with Scan, Nu Tren & Tawny .. and doing some video chats with Joey and Monet while they are in CT without us!! We will be joining them tomorrow though thankfully!! :)

We've got a few days off, yesterday we got a TON of snow so our first CT show was cancelled because of all the weather. Our next show is in Meriden, CT on weds .. so come out!!! Then we head to MA and Buffalo!! Sooo excited.

the other night a bunch of us went out to dunkin donuts - it was bre's first time having it. she loved it! funny..i love touring because there are a lot of firsts. i could live off dunkin donuts - fo real. that and subway! TOUR FOOD!

Anyways, everything is going well .. all of the artists are working on a song together and even though its in the very early stages its coming along amazingly!

Everyone is great. Loving them more each day.

Relaxing right now in Albany at Fraziers place. Shows on weds & thurs and tomorrow Monet will be here! The tour is almost complete! :)

The Mypop8 tour has officially started. 3 shows down - many many more to go. I am currently in Nyack, NY - we just got back from the cheescake factory where our whole crew had a big dinner and everyone was getting to know eachother more. It was definitley a lot of fun and everyone is getting along just great.

So even though the first show was yesterday we had a rehearsal for the artists on tuesday night - it was Bre, Nu-Tren, Scandalez and Playback .. Joey Page couldnt make it but we saw him the next day.

The first show was in Jersey City, NJ and it went over pretty well. Not horrible for a first show.

All of the acts listed above were there along with our opener Daniel Ferrari (he's great find him on myspace!).

My good friend Meg came to visit me for a bit which was exciting because I hadnt seen her in awhile.

OVERALL - I personally think the first show went well but nothing exciting happened.

later that night we had a show at a hookah bar, things ran a bit late ..but we got the venue it was pretty cool everyone just did a short set but it was fun I guess. After that was over I have to say I was pretty exhausted but..day one was good.

Palisades mall.....HUGGGE. 4 floors .. bowling alley, imax theatre, ferris wheel, ice skating rink....crazyness. The FYE was huge too - great show. Tawny and Raposo joined us today.

Great show, everything sounded pretty good. I had to have a few energy drinks to keep myself awake. But like I said we all went out to dinner together and that was a lot of fun. :)

Its been awhile since I've used this journal but I am going to try and update it more often now. Since my last entry which was filled with Kristy Frank tour dates .. that tour never happened but I ended up going on another one in which I met some of the most amazing people.

It was called the Saints & Sinners tour - it was a promotional tour for Coed Magazine and mycollegedaily.com .. our nights consisted of events at bars or frat houses. We would have shows SOMETIMES with Collie Buddz and Displaced.

I went to a lot of different places that I had never been before - Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee and of course a bunch of east coast areas like PA, NY, MA etc.

I got to experience it all with my best friend Andria - who is now out on the Take Action! tour (go see her, theres about a month left of shows). It was a crazy tour, there was a lot of money put into it for really no reason .. but throughout all of the crappy times there were mostly great times. It was also my first bus tour - pretty sweet. :)

NEXT UP:
I am heading out on a tour called MYPOP8. It features a lot of up and coming acts and the shows are primarily at malls but we do have some venue shows. I am the TOUR MANAGER for this one .. pretty darn excited. I'll be going all over the east coast, down south and out west .. I have never been to the west coast so I cant wait to get out there and see some friends and check out the area.

I leave on monday for that, I still havent packed yet ..I just hope I'm ready. I'll be gone for almost 3 months. How crazy is that? I will then be home for a month and then I head back out for Camplified this summer. I love it. :) BUSY BUSY BUSY!!

helloooooo...

i am at camp echo right now, in the nice air conditioned office.

the tour is going amazingly -- everyone is great and we all work really well together.

danny is back, he's had his surgery and is now crutching around with us. what a guy!

all of the bands are awesome, everyone loves violet nine .. they are definitley the collective favorite. such cool guys too. they are actually done with the tour on thursday -- so that will be pretty sad to see them go! but they are boston boys so i know i will be seeing them around..

jesse labelle joined us last week ..he's playing acoustic on the tour but his voice is amazing and he always puts on a good show. he's always got some great cover songs to keep the crowd into it. add him on myspace .. check out his sweet tunes :)

yesterday at camp tioga kristy (frank) shot the rest of her music video for "girls like me" .. i think its going to come out awesome! they have pretty much been shooting a lot of performance scenes, and other random stuff since thursday but they brought in a stand in band for the real band performance shots.

also kristys debut album entitled FREEDOM came out last week .. july 18 .. so go buy it! its availible on itunes, amazon.com and most local music stores .. but if you dont see it in there make sure you ask them to order it. it really is a great cd! we went out the night of the release date which was really fun .. had a great dinner and watched superman returns at the theatre (verrrry small too) next to our motel.

it was a really weird town (hancock, ny) .. we got great cell service but no internet or sidekick service. it felt like a week or more without being connected but it was actually only a couple of days. i actually think we are going back to that town soon too.

last week we went to a couple of GREAT camps! Hilltop was on wednesday .. they had tons of signs for al of the artists and even knew the words to some of the songs! they really outdid every other camp we have been to ... an their staff was great. they definitley took care of us .. and there were ALPACAS, cant leave those out!!

thursday we went to indian head, another camp we visited last yr ..they had this really cool movie room that was airconditioned and i got to see the beginnings of 3 movies. it was nice to relax a bit because it was really hot out! (well, when has it not?).

we've got a day off tomorrow ..we might go bowling or to a movie. who knows. oh yeah - i finally got BAJA BLAST today! YESS :)

So after a crazy weekend in NY with some friends I hadnt seen in a long time .. I headed out last night for the first show of the Camlified Tour (which was today). We stayed in NJ .. we met up with Scarletts Web for dinner and that was pretty much it for the night.

Today was a verryyyy early day .. The shiw went OK though. I am in love with Faces Without Names .. I just love their music.

The other bands were definitley great as well in their own ways, and the kids were awesome today ... atlough it was really hot everyone stayed happy throughout the day. We have a sponsor called VERB .. Sandy and Warren are on that team and theyre pretty cool. They do a great job with the kids and have some cool prizes so its good we've got that with us.

Tomorrow Violet Nine joins the tour, im excited to see them because they're from Boston aka my 2nd home.

8 Days and counting til the tour starts.

I leave for NYC on thursday, I'm soo excited! We have a meeting on Friday with the staff, so I will be meeting everyone (except danny, who also did the tour last yr) for the first time. One of the girls I'll be working with invited a couple of us out to the movies to see the Devil Wears Prada .. so I'm excited because I did want to see that. (even though it will be like $10 to see it!)

I am not looking forward to the 6 hour bus ride, ugh. And by myself.

Lastnight I ordered my very own MAC laptop. My mom is of course paying for it up front, but I will be paying for it over time. I cant wait to get it because I really need it and it will come in handy this summer.

Last week I finally got to see Jason Mraz LIVE! It was awesome, and he is amazing. I dont know how I went so long without seeing him, but I'm glad it finally happened. He had some great stories, that always makes the show that much more enjoyable. Big City Rock opened, we were supposed to do photos with them .. but that ended up not exactly working out. It was really cool seeing those guys again, I'm glad we went. And it was at the Foxwoods Casino .. it was pretty cool, I'd never been there before.

It was announced a couple days ago that their tour manager dave (tastic) will no longer be with them, it sucks .. he's such a cool guy but hopefully he'll continue touring and stuff. :)

It was also KISS CONCERT WEEKEND last weekend, although I didn't go to the actual show it was still a lot of fun. I went to the pre part with Ashley, Andria and Ashley's friend Aimee .. it was definitley interesting. We saw Beth - love her! And randomly David from Fricken A', he remebered us which was really cool, so it was fun seeing him again. He was with the band Saving Jane - they used to be on the same label, he introduced us to the lead singer which was cool. Mario Vazquez was also there, we met him that morning (very early) at the matty idol event ..he was so nice, and was just the same when we met him that night. Ashley Parker Angel was there, he performed 2 songs .. it was cool meeting him as well. A professional photographer took our photo so hopefully I'll be getting a copy soon.

The next night we headed back into Boston to see David and the saving jane band, they were pretty cool .. and handsome joe is outta control! ahaa.

It's almost summer, which means time for TOURING! woooo I'm pretty pumped

I'll be gone from July 2 to about August 20 - and I'll be on Camplified again (http://www.myspace.com/camplified or http://www.camplified.com)
I'll post the dates soon, I want some visitors!! It will be lonely without a friend, I know one person on the tour this year .. not sure who else will be on it with me yet.

Crazy! After 5 years .. Andria & I decided to open Hot Vibes to others. We really do need some help with interviews & such since we're both involved in other things but I want HV to keep going for as long as we can make it! We got an overwhelming amount of entries, so it's going to be hard to narrow down.

Also, I won tix to see Fefe Dobson tomorrow. She's def one of my fav singers .. so I can't wait! It's at a radio station so it's probably going to be a short performance and meet and greet. Should be fun. I'll definitley post pics & such from that .. along with stuff from the show i'm going to on saturday with Jillian Wheeler and B5 at six flags!

last weekend andria, tess & i went to see our good friend katelyn tarver! most of the family came too - minus amanda & her lil bro we've never met. but it was great to see everyone. i didnt really like the set up of the show - but katelyn got a good reaction i thought.

She only performed 2 songs - "Something In Me" & "Wonderful Crazy" - about an hour later, went for the signing .. lots of people showed up for that which was good.

It was great to catch up, I also talked with Kenny (Katelyns Dad) about possibly heading down to GA for the GA State Fair .. Katelyns performing for about 2 weeks so hopefully that will work out. After the signing was over we headed backstage to grab our stuff & head out.

last night andria & i headed over to the wheeler household - jillian was performing in boston at an event called chick singer night .. so we wanted to go & support her for that. it was a good show, she did 3 songs and everyone was really supportive.

after her performance we kinda hung around and took pics while the adults were off doing their thing .. it was fun. we're also gunna head out for her show next weekend at six flags new england - its april 22 with b5 .. a radio disney event. go if you can!!

on monday andria, cath and myself headed to the axis to see big city rock open for pray for the soul of betty (constantine maroulis of AI's band). got there just in time, we missed the first opener. it was a great show and they actually had some fans there among the 40-50 yr olds who were there for constantine.

"uncle billy" let us watch constanines show from this platform on the side of the stage, which was cool because we could see perfectly from there.

anyways, it was a fun show .. the music was alright, probably not something i would buy though. went through the meet and greet and then headed outside after hearing the axis/avalon staff sing for us. ran into constantine outside, he was pretty cool .. we went on his bus for a few and then hit up ihop for some food.

well last weekend was definitley fun and interesting. the click five & big city rock 3 days in a row.

friday / providence
we were supposed to interview october fall, but the lead singer got ill and had to go to the hospital. so unfortunatley they cancelled the last 3 performances of the tour and headed home the next day. however we did meet nick from the band, who was def a cool guy. their tm jake handed us passes so we could hang for the rest of the night.

we checked out big city rock, since we would be interviewing them the next day - they put on a rockin' show. once the click five started we headed backstage to watch from there (you cant really hear very well back there though) but it was a great show anyways. a good start to the rest of the weekend.

saturday / hartford
met up with dave, big city rock's tour manager and did the interview in the backstage area (a bunch of rooms with some chairs in them, not too attractive). met nate, the lead singer .. did the interview which went well and will be up on the site soon. we met the rest of the band, all of them very cool .. funniest moment of the night - nate got locked in the dressing room and half the tour tried kicking the door down to get him out. it didn't come to using tools, but some staff members magic touch .. haha. i guess you had to be there to find it funny.

sunday / new haven
since we stayed in hartford we had a lot of time to waste once we got to new haven, we pretty much sat in this restaraunt next to the venue the whole day. although, the 3rd time around some cool guys invited us to sit with them. :)

it was another great show, although they had weak "pranks" since it was the last show. but again, a great show.

after we said goodbye to everyone we headed back to mass. good ending to the weekend though :)

our interview with october fall is being rescheduled for feb 15 - so keep looking out for that. our interview with big city rock will be up next week.

Yesterday Andria & I got up at 6am (which was lovely of course), and started to NYC around 7 .. no problems along the way. Minus the crazy rain, we got to NY just fine. Our exit was coming up and we were probably 10 minutes away from where Katelyn was shooting her video. Unfortunately for me, my car decided to die right off the exit. This has happened to me a few times, but with this car I thought everything would be ok. We ended up having some guys at a garage tow it back to their place, and left it there until sometime next week when they will know what the problems is and fix it. So it was definitley an awful start to our day.

After figuring all that out we hopped in a cab, soaking wet and with our luggage to Budman Studios where the video was being shot. We found it, and went up to the 14th floor, dropped our stuff and finally saw Katelyn. It was great to see her, along with her mom and brother Drew (he was also in the video as a guitarist in her "band").

Although a video shoot may seem exciting, it really isn't. There was lots of waiting around, so we mostly caught up during breaks.

The video was based in a tiny loft space, the parts they were shooting were pretty much just performance scenes and close ups. It had a very vintage feel to it (interesting old furniture and some very bright lighting) with little blue xmas lights all over the place.

Although the crew wasn't huge, the amount of people in this tiny loft was pretty crazy at times. But they were working hard and doing a great job.

I definitley know this is going to come out great, everyone is going to love the video. Probably by the end of February you will see something online about it.

At the end of the day we took some fun photos.

and headed out to dinner. then went to starbucks and said goodbye there. :( it was soo much fun seeing everyone. oh and check out the new show THE BOOK OF DANIEL - Drew's gf Leven has a small role on it. She's really cool so you should check it out :)
